As the need to connect to the internet anywhere continues to grow and as interactions with people are more online-oriented, the tablet computer will become more and more of a necessity. The iPad, iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy, and Motorola Xoom are the key players in the tablet world. The prices of these tablets vary. The iPad 2 averages $729; the Motorla Xoom is $800, and the Samsung Galxy is $500. These prices may be too high for the average person looking for a tablet of their own, but there is an alternative.
